SHORT ABOUT US

As the practice expanded, in 2001 he relocated just next door to our current location at 25 Oliver Plunkett Road, which was formerly The Arcade. After renovations it became Monkstown Surgery as it is known today. 

Dr Pat has almost 40 years of clinical expertise and knowledge to hand with many accolades in his training over those years. 

Dr Ross McGrath, his son, joined the practice in 2022 on completion of his Membership of the Irish College of General Practice, and brings an array of specialist experiences from all his training prior to working in General Practice. 

He qualified from Medicine in UCD in 2010 and worked in Ireland and Australia before completing his Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine London in 2017. He shortly changed paths to training and working as a GP, gaining experience in Dermatology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Palliative Care.

Together now they work serving the local and wider community.
