General Practice can be a difficult speciality to actually define. GP is the last Generalist around, that is not just a Specialist. Every day we deal with common and rare problems alike, encompassing minor ailments to severe diseases at any time and from any possible cause. It is the role of the GP to categorise, define, investigate, and treat this issue; efficiently and sensitively, often within the wider context of a patient’s family and social perspective.
