Monkstown Surgery represents reliable high quality GP lead healthcare that has been provided to the local community since 1984 by Dr Pat McGrath. It is also a story of family tradition since his son Dr Ross McGrath joined in 2022, bringing another level of modern specialised knowledge to offer the high quality care that sets Monkstown Surgery apart.
From preconception, through antenatal to the postpartum period, we will we will be there to guide and treat you during all the stages of your pregnancy.
We perform women’s health consultations to include access to free contraception to those aged 17-31 years old, Cervical Smears via the Cervical Check programme and access to LARC. We also perform checks for Hormone Replacement Therapy.
This includes twice yearly general checkups with free bloods and physical review for those with Medical Cards and diseases that make up the Chronic Disease Management Programme with the HSE.
We are experienced in providing care for matters relating to sexual health and can perform necessary tests, prescribe treatment and arrange necessary follow up.
